His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, left for the Republic of Singapore, 8th August morning.
Present at His Majesty the Sultan's Flight Hangar in Rimba to bid farewell to His Majesty and Her Majesty were members of the Royal Family. Also present were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran-pengiran Cheteria; the Speaker of the Legislative Council; Cabinet Ministers; Members of the Privy Council; Deputy Ministers; the Commissioner of Police, the Royal Brunei Police Force and the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces as well as their respective spouses.
Upon arrival at Changi International Airport, His Majesty and Her Majesty were welcomed by His Excellency Dr. Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower of the Republic of Singapore; and His Excellency Laurence Bay, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, and spouse. Also present was Her Excellency Hajah Noor Qamar binti Haji Sulaiman, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Singapore. His Majesty will attend the 60th National Day Parade of the Republic of Singapore, which will be held on 9th August 2025, at the invitation of His Excellency Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore.
